From a thrift shop to a craft display...hopefully!

Hopefully this afternoon will be a busy one in the Creative Cave.
It’s going to be warmer today so I hope to work on a possible craft show set up. I picked up some fun and interesting things at thrift shops over the last few days.
In Friday’s post I included photos of some pieces I thought could come in handy. Yesterday I found even more things - a cabinet/shelf, a beautiful large wood frame and an old jewelry box. I also picked up a few wire racks. I got everything for under $30. I don’t want to put too much money into something I may end up not doing or not being good at.
I haven’t registered for a craft fair or festival yet, but I am accumulating a list of events coming up in the spring. Since I have never participated as a vendor before I don’t have a display. Many of these events require display photos to be sent in with the vendor application. So I need to get something together.
What’s interesting is there seems to be just as much crafting and creativity in setting up a display as there is in making the inventory to sell.

oooh, thanks for the ideas, T! I'm doing a Steampunk fair in May, so I need to figure out how to display stuff...

*giggles* And it's always funny to see Jules' posts, because my nickname among my SCA friends is Jules LOL
