Is March coming in like a lion or a lamb?

In like a lion? Or lamb?
I turned to the Farmers’ Almanac to get some information on the old saying that the month of March “comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb,” or vice versa.
I’ve always known it explained the weather in March. Over the years I’ve experienced heat waves in March and heavy wet snows in March.
Pinterest has a collection of arts and crafts centered around the lion and lamb theme. You can find those here.
In my research I also came across some other weather-related tidbits and sayings. You can check them out at Wikipedia.
