Thrift shop finds and a song that won't leave my head

I am going to try to make a long story short about how I came across Macklemore’s Thrift Shop song. How does this apply to crafting? Every time I go to a thrift shop, like I did yesterday, the song pops into my head.
There is a radio app I use on my iPhone to listen to the news when I am in the Creative Cave. Several months ago there was an interview with Macklemore (Ben Haggerty) and I enjoyed the story but especially enjoyed the Thrift Shop song that was featured in the story. I know very few words to the song but I really like the beat and sound of it.
Okay, story shortened as much as I could. Now to the thrift shop I went to yesterday. I found all kinds of things to use for crafting – all for under $13. Yay for me! I found a photo frame, wrapping paper, all kinds of buttons, belts and Christmas ornaments – all for craft projects.
I got the Christmas ornaments specifically for the wire hanger wreath I plan to make. You can read a little about that project in Monday’s post “Holiday projects are looming.” This particular project is taking me a little longer than I planned because I need to secure/glue the ornament caps on each ornament so they won’t pop off once placed on the wire wreath.
