Going wire wrap crazy with rings

Wow! Another month has come and gone. Welcome October! Perhaps I should get crafty and work on some Halloween and Thanksgiving items. For right now, however, I want to share my new obsession…handmade rings.
When I find something new I will work on it relentlessly. First it was the wire-wrapped cuff bracelets, then the paper beads and now it is rings.
Well, no sense in delaying the presentation…here are the rings I made yesterday. Having the ring mandrel sure helps in shaping each ring, but other than that I don’t know what I’m doing.

I would’ve shared photos of the process of each ring creation, but each time I started wrapping wire around the mandrel I wasn’t sure what I would end up with. All I know is I think I have gone wire crazy.
As I mentioned in "My first try at handmade rings," I don’t know what gauge wire is best for making rings. These seem like they would bend quite easily.
Stay tuned. I’m off to Pinterest now for handmade ring tutorials.

These are beautiful! I absolutely love the one with the purple stone - for someone who doesn't know what they're doing, you do it very well!
