Jewelry, crafts and holiday deals

   I plan to make some new jewelry today and I am looking forward to it. 

   You may recall I recently picked up some belts at a thrift store. I think I will start with those first and most likely make unique bracelets with them.

   I’m also ready to make some fleece blankets. My sister made a couple for me several years ago. She showed me how to do it. And since my kitty Beau likes the fringe on the blanket so much I am thinking of making little blankets for all of my kitties too.

   Over several blog posts in the past I have shared with you how much I love shopping for a deal, especially at thrift stores and yard sales. Well, I’ve been sucked into all of this holiday shopping a little. It has spurred my desire to find a deal…both on Black Friday, weekend sales and the upcoming Cyber Monday.

   I got up early on Friday to take advantage of a PetSmart sale. With three indoor cats, two outdoor cats and a 36-gallon aquarium one can never overlook sales on cat litter, tank supplies or kitty toys. I was one of the first 100 in line and got a pet stocking with coupons and pet treats.

   I also found some deals on beads and craft supplies. I picked up a couple of bead storage items that will help in my organization in the Creative Cave.
