A cat blanket for a "Caturday" post

Back in June, when I first started this blog, I mentioned how I had turned into a garage girl and coined the name Creative Cave for my workspace.
My cats led to my decision to work outside. And as I share photos with you on this "Caturday" you will see why.
I was very excited to make this no-sew fleece blanket. I was excited when I found the cat fleece at a fabric warehouse, then when I got the coordinating fleece.

I consulted with my pal Jules about whether I should use this colorful fleece to make little cat blankets for my furry babies or a regular blanket. Her response was “What’s the difference? It will be theirs anyway.”
Boy is that the truth. I couldn’t even get through the cutting and tying process without a visitor. Beau is like my little shadow. I call him a people kitty. If there are people in the house he will be under foot or in the middle of the action. So why did I think making a fleece blanket would be kitty free?
Beau likes the fleece blankets. He has pretty much taken over the one I got from my sister a few years ago. In addition to curling up and sleeping on it, he likes to grab a fringe piece in his mouth, make bread with his paws and nurse on the blanket.
