I finally made some necklaces! My experience in creating
necklaces up until now has been more "misses" than "hits" so I am excited to share
today’s post with you.
My first step in making a necklace was to place a pendant on
my design board. It is one of the best tools I have in my Creative Cave. Thanks
to my recent cleaning up of my workspace the board is not covered in scraps or
beads or anything else that would inhibit me from using it.
Once the pendant was on the board I experimented with
different beads and jewelry findings to get an idea of how I wanted the
necklace to look. I used this process with each necklace.
A combination of lengths of wire, chain, beads and clasps came
together and now I have these two necklaces to show you!
It sure is nice to have some "hits" in handmade necklaces. I've certainly had some "misses." I’ve created a necklace that ended up looking like a crown.
I have a necklace that looks like a beaded mess. And I have a necklace that has
a magnetic clasp on it but doesn’t open.
Thanks for checking out my blog. If you like what you're seeing or have any questions, or just want to say hello, please do not hesitate to leave a comment!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
Jules!
That is gorgeous! I love seeing jewelry, especially, necklaces on other people. I don't wear them myself. When I sold Avon, they had some of the cutest necklaces. I hope you have lots of success in the jewelry field.
Many thanks! Have a great day!
